I like to think of my decorating style as modern meets old world elegance. I've been in and out of thousands of homes, I've seen thousands of painted rooms. Over the years I have narrowed my pallette to a select set of Benjamin Moore Colors that work well with most wood finishes and home decor. I first look at a rooms function, then assess the homeowners personal style. I start my design with a clean neutral base to act as a canvas for my color pallete. I am drawn to rich colors such as Dark Espresso, Bold Reds, Warm Caramels, and Crisp Blues. Our collection of Faux Finishes are a great way to bring personality, color, and old world elegance to a room.

My favorite and most popular Faux Finish is the Rusted Spanish Gold. I have used this finish in large Foyers, Family Rooms, Dining Room Tray Ceilings, Powder Rooms, Master Bedrooms, Niches, and more! It's a blend of warm caramel tones, golden metallic paint, and a hint of a rusty red. The finished room is an elegant, warm, yet surprisingly modern space.

I enjoy the beauty, simplicity, and elegance of freshly painted walls, however it's the personal touches that make a house a home. I love to see a bold fireplace accent wall or a Faux Finished Family Room that serves to break up the monotony of a large 2 Story space. Custom Hand-painted Artwork is also a great way to personalize your home. My favorite mural so far was 'The Creation' done in a Master Bedroom. The room's theme is an Italian Villa; the mural, done in sepia tones, adds depth and an Old World feel to the space.
